TODDLER

Our toddler program will give your child the emotional and educational training needed for development. Small World meets the needs of our toddlers with three different classrooms. We offer a toddler room for ages 18-24 months, and provide two classrooms for two-year-old children, ages 24-36 months. Classroom sizes vary between 9-10 children and makes teaching more enjoyable with the smaller rooms. Our toddler program follows a daily lesson plan and focuses on gross and fine motor skills, creativity and language. Toddlers have circle time which includes music, ABC's, colors, shapes, and numbers. Art activities are also a very big part of our toddler curriculum. Toddler caregivers provide all parents with a daily record of diaper changes / toilet training, meals, and nap times. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided. Our goal is to provide a loving atmosphere where toddlers can explore and become the individuals God created them to be.

PRESCHOOL

Our preschool program offers children from ages 3-5 the skills needed to start Kindergarten. Our Bible based curriculum will teach children Bible stories from both the Old and New Testaments which are used to teach God as creator and Jesus as Lord and Savior. Basic Christian principles and cognitive skills are a premise for each class. Small World also offers fun learning experiences focusing on shapes, numbers, letters, and prewriting skills. Our center based facility offers areas such as: blocks/cars, reading, music, dramatic play, science, and gross motor. The program also provides opportunity for children to understand and follow directions and instructions which are essential in developing self-confidence and independence.  Our goal is to provide opportunities for each child to develop physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually.
